#한국 연휴Korean holidays

We have two big holidays in Korea.
One is Lunar New Year and the other is Chuseok. We hold ancestral rites in the morning and eat traditional foods.

한글날 is October 9th which is another important date, we have a day off to celebrate our Korean alphabet.
Before King Sejong created Hangul , there were words, but no letters to represent them, so Chinese characters were used. I respect and appreciate him for creating such wonderful character
